Geoff O'Brien, Founder
Geoff O'Brien lives just outside New York City with his wife Erin and their three boys; Teddy, Ansel and Phinny. Between screenings, meetups, piano recitals and late night crunches there's barely room for much else. Luckily there's plenty of time to sleep on the train.
Anna Holtzman, Co-Director, Education & Advocacy
Anna Holtzman is a Brooklyn-based filmmaker and social gatherer. She can be found editing TV, developing comedy projects, and talking to strangers. She also produces a monthly series of panel discussions for the Editors Collective that focus on how we can make reality TV a better industry to work in. We can do it!
Ann Husaini, Co-Director, Education & Advocacy
ANN HUSAINI has worked as a film and television editor for over fifteen years. She particularly digs cutting comedy and arty documentary stuff, and recently dipped into directing said arty documentary stuff with a short film about foodie Sandor Katz. She feels passionate about labor and women's issues, and loves rabble rousing for the EC. Her film projects include Avi Zev Weider’s documentary WELCOME TO THE MACHINE (SXSW, HotDocs! 2012), Alexandra Berger’s documentary DANLAND (Slamdance 2012), and Jonathan Lisecki’s romantic comedy GAYBY (SXSW, LAFF 2012). She also works regularly in television for clients including PBS, Discovery Networks, MTV, and AMC. At home you might find her making sauerkraut, writing a feminist short story, planning a scuba trip, or just sitting around watching Bates Motel and drinking craft beer like every other dang Brooklynite.
